ANIIMO Leveling Guide – How to Level Up Fast & Reach Level 60

Direct answer

After level 45, stop expecting one repeatable activity to carry progression. Claim Daily Activity EXP, finish remaining Core Courses and Journey quests, collect nearby exploration milestones, take realistic Holo-Battle Sim first clears, and spend Primegy where the materials also help your roster.

Key information
  • The current Daily Activity board shows a daily EXP total of 3,000.
  • The Chapter 7 Core Courses screen shows 1,300 EXP on the visible tasks and a level 60 Special Challenge requirement.
  • The Journey example “Is That a... Lighthouse?” awards 1,000 EXP.
  • Holo-Battle Sim first clears award 500 EXP on Easy, 750 on Normal, and 1,000 on Hard or Challenge in the supplied evidence.

Quick Answer

ANIIMO leveling is straightforward while quests keep arriving quickly. Around level 45, progression starts asking you to combine several sources instead of waiting for one perfect grind spot.

From level 50 onward, prioritize Daily Activity, unfinished Core Courses, Journey entries, nearby exploration milestones, realistic Holo-Battle Sim first clears, and Aniimo Challenges whose materials already help your roster. At level 55–59, audit what is still unclaimed rather than repeating one low-value activity.

This guide is about your character or Pathfinder level. For Aniimo upgrades such as Resonance, Potential and Held Items, use the Training & Progression guide.

Why Leveling Feels Slower After Level 45

The practical change is not that quests stop mattering. It is that a single quest chain is less likely to carry the whole level on its own. By the mid-50s, Daily Activity, one-time objectives, first clears and useful Primegy spending all become parts of the same leveling plan.

The Chapter 7 Core Courses screen below shows the situation clearly: all four required quests are complete, but the Special Challenge still asks for level 60 while the character is at 56/60. The visible course tasks award 1,300 EXP each; check later Core Course reward panels before assuming the same value.

Elite Training Core Courses screen with Chapter 7 required quests at four of four and the Special Challenge still requiring character level 60 from level 56
Chapter 7 can be quest-complete while the level 60 requirement remains unfinished, so the last levels need a broader EXP audit.

Do not respond to that slowdown by farming blindly. First clear the structured content already close to completion; then use daily and resource-efficient activities to close the remaining gap.

Level 45–50: Keep Clearing Real Content

At level 45–50, the best first move is still unfinished progression:

  1. Complete available Core Courses and main objectives.
  2. Open Log → Journey and continue entries without a time gate.
  3. Clear nearby world objectives that fit the same route.
  4. Collect an exploration reward when the region is already near its next milestone.

Journey is the official in-game name for the log category. The “Is That a… Lighthouse?” Journey entry awards 1,000 EXP, so unfinished Journey content is worth checking once leveling slows down. Rewards vary by quest, so use the reward panel to decide what to clear first.

Check unfinished Journey entries before looking for a repeatable grind; this Tideblossom Coast example awards 1,000 EXP.

If a Journey step is time-gated, move to another item on the list. Waiting in place does not make the next level arrive faster.

Level 50–55: Stack EXP With Other Progression

From level 50 onward, EXP is most efficient when the activity also solves another problem. The goal is not to maximize one isolated reward; it is to make each session advance character level, roster strength or world completion at the same time.

Claim Daily Activity First

Daily Activity should be your first stop each day. The current board displays EXP 3,000/3,000 under “Obtained Today,” for a daily total of up to 3,000 EXP.

The current Daily Activity board shows a 3,000 EXP daily total. The numbers on individual cards are Activity Points, not EXP.

Finish the activities that suit your normal play, then make sure the daily EXP has actually been collected. Do not confuse the Activity Points printed on task cards with the EXP total at the top of the screen.

Finish Exploration That Is Already Close

Exploration rewards make sense when normal play has already pushed a region near its next threshold. In the example below, Forest of Falling Stars is at 93%, with a nearby milestone reward row that includes 500 EXP.

A region already near its next milestone can be efficient cleanup. An almost untouched region is a different time commitment.

Use the map percentage and visible next reward to make the decision. Finishing a nearly complete region can be sensible; clearing a mostly untouched region solely for a small EXP reward usually is not.

Spend Primegy Where the Materials Matter

Aniimo Challenges can combine character EXP with materials your active roster needs. In the captured Resonance Star-Up Material list, the visible Alpha entries cost 30 Primegy and award 150 EXP, while the visible Omega entry costs 50 Primegy and awards 250 EXP alongside other rewards.

Choose the challenge category for the material you need; treat EXP as part of the return rather than the only reason to spend Primegy.

The same decision applies when you need Capability Awakening materials: choose the useful reward category first. Do not spend Primegy only because an EXP number is present. A run is better value when it improves both your level and the Aniimo you actually use.

Level 55–60: Run a Late-Game EXP Audit

If you are stuck at level 55, 56 or 59, stop looking for a secret infinite farm. Work through the remaining daily and one-time rewards in a fixed order:

  1. Claim today’s full Daily Activity EXP. This is the most predictable first check.
  2. Review Elite Training → Core Courses. Complete tasks that are available and practical at your current point in Chapter 7.
  3. Open Log → Journey. Look for unfinished entries, then move past anything currently time-gated.
  4. Check the world map. Pair Journey or other world progression with locations you already need to visit.
  5. Inspect near-complete regions. Take the next exploration milestone when the remaining work is reasonable.
  6. Review remaining Lumin Amber and world progression. Fold these into the same map route instead of making wasteful separate trips.
  7. Claim reachable Holo-Battle Sim first clears. Do not force a difficulty your roster cannot yet clear consistently.
  8. Spend Primegy on needed materials. Let the attached EXP support leveling while the materials strengthen your active team.
  9. Fix the actual combat wall. If content is available but your party cannot clear it, review Team Building and Element Counters instead of scattering resources across every Aniimo.

Treat this as a checklist of places to look for remaining EXP. Some are daily sources, while others are one-time progression rewards, so read the current reward panel before committing time or Primegy.

Holo-Battle Sim First-Clear EXP

Holo-Battle Sim provides useful first-clear EXP when the next difficulty is realistic for your roster.

Normal750
Hard1,000
Challenge1,000

Take the first-clear EXP you can earn efficiently. Hard adds only 250 EXP over Normal in this captured reward list.

The screen also says that clearing a higher difficulty lets you claim rewards from lower difficulties. Read that as the mode’s lower-difficulty reward claim behavior—not as repeatable access to every lower tier’s First Clear EXP.

Holo-Battle Sim is separate from Holo-Battle Interlink. If Hard or Challenge turns into a long sequence of failed runs, strengthen the roster and return later; the marginal EXP is not worth stalling the rest of your progression.

Finish the Audit on the Map

Use the Tideblossom Coast map as a final cleanup pass for remaining Lumin Amber and nearby world objectives.

Combine remaining Lumin Amber and nearby world progression in the same route instead of making separate trips.

Do not make a separate trip for every icon. Group objectives by area, finish the ones whose reward or progression value is clear, and leave ambiguous or distant cleanup until it overlaps another goal.

What Not to Grind for EXP

  • Do not force a low-completion region toward a distant milestone solely for a small EXP reward.
  • Do not spend Primegy for EXP alone when another material category would help your roster more.
  • Do not repeatedly fail Hard or Challenge Holo-Battle Sim for a marginal increase over Normal.
  • Do not assume every Journey entry, Core Course or challenge uses the example reward value shown here.
  • Do not turn character leveling into an excuse to spread Aniimo upgrades across the entire collection.
  • Do not expect one secret activity to carry level 55–60 by itself.

Every day:

  1. Complete Daily Activity and collect the available EXP.
  2. Spend Primegy on the challenge materials your current roster needs.
  3. Pick one unfinished high-value target: Core Courses, Journey, a nearby exploration milestone or a reachable Holo-Battle Sim first clear.

Then use the map to combine remaining targets in the same area. If combat strength blocks several of them, invest in the active core instead of starting another leveling loop. Before moving development to a better duplicate, read the Inheritance guide; for Potential decisions, use the Potential & Capability Awakening guide.

Steady progress across several systems is more reliable than forcing one inefficient grind.

ANIIMO Leveling FAQ

Why does leveling slow down after level 45?

Quest chains stop carrying each level as quickly, so combine Daily Activity, unfinished structured content, first clears and useful world progression.

What should I do if I am stuck around level 55?

Start with the 3,000 Daily Activity EXP, then check unfinished Core Courses and Journey entries. After that, use reachable Holo-Battle Sim first clears, nearby exploration milestones, Lumin Amber cleanup and useful Primegy spending to close the remaining gap.

How much EXP does Daily Activity give?

The current Daily Activity board pays up to 3,000 EXP per day. Check the live board after major updates.

Is Holo-Battle Sim good for leveling?

Yes, for reachable first clears. Normal awards 750 EXP and Hard awards 1,000, so do not stall your session for the extra 250 EXP.

Should I farm bosses just for EXP?

Only when the displayed materials also help your roster. Treat EXP as part of the return, not the sole reason to spend Primegy.

Should I complete every map region for EXP?

No. Prioritize regions already close to the next reward milestone or objectives that overlap your route.

What should I check before trying to reach level 60?

Claim Daily Activity, then audit remaining Core Courses, Journey, near-complete map rewards and reachable Holo-Battle Sim first clears. Spend Primegy where the materials strengthen your active team.

Tips & warnings

  • Reward values can vary by activity and future updates. Check the current reward panel before spending Primegy or committing to a long clear.
  • Combine exploration and Lumin Amber with nearby world cleanup instead of making separate trips just for EXP.
