ANIIMO Potential & Capability Awakening Guide
Potential in ANIIMO is split across six attributes — HP, ATK, P.DEF, REGEN, M.DEF and BREAK — and the live client separates each one into Innate Potential and Acquired Potential. Capafruit adds +1 Innate Potential to all six attributes once per Aniimo, while Capability Awakening develops the Acquired side under progression limits.
- The live Potential panel separately tracks Innate Potential and Acquired Potential across HP, ATK, P.DEF, REGEN, M.DEF and BREAK.
- The panel displays Potential Limit 20, but that label alone does not define an overflow or conversion formula.
- Capafruit grants +1 Innate Potential to each of the six attributes, and each Aniimo can consume only one.
- Official guidance says Capability Awakening caps unlock gradually with Aniimo level and Resonance star rank.

What Is Potential in ANIIMO?
Potential is a six-part growth profile attached to an individual Aniimo. The live panel does not show one interchangeable score; it shows a separate row for HP, ATK, P.DEF, REGEN, M.DEF and BREAK, then divides every row into Innate Potential and Acquired Potential.
That structure matters because three related systems affect different parts of the profile. An Aniimo begins with Innate values, Capafruit raises those Innate values, and Capability Awakening develops the Acquired side. The overall Potential label — such as Perfect — summarizes quality, but the available evidence does not reveal the calculation behind that label.
Potential is also not a second copy of the Attribute Details page. The Potential panel uses small growth values, while Attribute Details presents combat-facing values and Advanced Effects. Read the former to understand Potential distribution and the latter to inspect the resulting battle profile.
The Six Potential Attributes
The six rows mirror familiar combat categories, but the numbers belong to the Potential system:
- HP — the Potential category corresponding to health.
- ATK — the Potential category corresponding to attack.
- P.DEF — the Potential category corresponding to physical defense.
- REGEN — the Potential category corresponding to regeneration.
- M.DEF — the Potential category corresponding to magical defense.
- BREAK — the Potential category corresponding to break.
The Lv.1 Thornblade example shown here has Innate values of 6, 8, 4, 8, 4 and 2 in that order. Those values describe this captured Aniimo; they are not universal Thornblade values or a rating threshold.
Innate Potential vs Acquired Potential
Innate Potential is the already-present value shown in the middle column of the live panel. Acquired Potential is tracked separately in the right column. In the captured Lv.1 example, Innate Potential is populated across all six rows while Acquired Potential is 0 in every row.
This is a clean baseline, not proof of a leveling formula. It shows that a newly displayed Lv.1 Aniimo can already have Innate values and no Acquired investment. It does not show how much Acquired Potential any future training action grants, how a final cap is calculated, or whether another copy starts with the same distribution.
What Does Potential Limit 20 Mean?
The live Potential panel displays a Potential Limit of 20 and separately tracks Innate and Acquired Potential for all six attributes. That display is the verified fact.
The label alone does not define exactly how the limit is applied. ANIIMO Central therefore does not state that Innate plus Acquired Potential can never exceed 20, or invent overflow, blue-bonus, conversion or hidden-cap rules. Until an official help entry defines the calculation, use 20 as the limit displayed by the client rather than as a complete formula.
What Does Capafruit Do?
Capafruit grants +1 Innate Potential to each of the six attributes. It does not add one point divided between them: the preview shows HP 6 → 7, ATK 8 → 9, P.DEF 4 → 5, REGEN 8 → 9, M.DEF 4 → 5 and BREAK 2 → 3 at the same time.
The item text also sets a firm use limit: “Each Aniimo can consume only one Capafruit.” Capafruit is therefore a one-time, all-six-attributes Innate upgrade for the selected Aniimo. It is not Acquired Potential, it is not a direct grant of six final combat-stat points, and it cannot be repeated indefinitely.
The official September 3 developer letter adds one later-life rule: Capafruit effects transfer automatically between Aniimo during Inheritance. The letter does not turn Capafruit into Capability Awakening material; it describes how the Capafruit effect is handled when an investment moves through Inheritance.
Common, Good, Elite and Perfect Potential
Common, Good, Elite and Perfect are overall Potential ratings. The selected Thornblade is labeled Perfect, but the screenshot does not expose the formula that produced that rating. Adding its six Innate values gives a number for this example only; it does not prove that the same total is a Perfect cutoff.
The Eggs & Hatching guide documents two useful first-party guarantees: Aniipod Ultra makes a hatched Aniimo’s Potential rating at least Elite, while Sparkling Cube guarantees Perfect Potential and Sparkling. Those guarantees confirm that Elite and Perfect are rating outcomes, not their numeric boundaries. No Common, Good, Elite or Perfect threshold is inferred here.
How Capability Awakening Works
Capability Awakening is the progression path associated with Acquired Potential, which the live panel keeps separate from Innate Potential. There is no supplied Capability Awakening screen in this evidence set, so this guide stays at the system level instead of reproducing UI steps, costs or material tables.
The official developer letter confirms that Capability caps unlock gradually with an Aniimo’s level and Resonance star rank. In practical terms, the available training ceiling follows the Aniimo’s wider progression rather than appearing all at once. The source does not publish Acquired Potential gained per item, a complete cost curve or an exact final-cap calculation, so none is supplied here.
Can You Reset Capability Awakening?
Yes, within the official boundary: Capability Awakening for Aniimo below Lv.60 can be reset at any time, with the training items returned.
“Below Lv.60” is precise. It does not mean “Lv.60 and below” or “up to Lv.60.” The official statement does not define the rule at Lv.60 or above, so this guide does not guess what happens there.
Does Capability Awakening Need to Start at Lv.1?
The evidence does not support a requirement to begin at Lv.1. The screenshot shows a Lv.1 Perfect Thornblade with Innate Potential already populated and Acquired Potential at 0, but it does not show compounding growth or a per-level Awakening bonus.
Officially, Capability caps unlock gradually with level and Resonance star rank, and Awakening investment can be reset below Lv.60 with training items returned. Those facts describe access and reversibility; they do not say that waiting loses stats or permanently weakens an Aniimo. Ordinary leveling and Acquired Potential progression should therefore not be treated as the same process without stronger first-party evidence.
Does Perfect Potential Still Matter?
Perfect still identifies an overall Potential rating. Capability Awakening does not erase that label in the evidence available here: it develops Acquired Potential, while Capafruit improves Innate Potential, and the rating describes the Aniimo’s Potential quality.
That distinction prevents two unsupported extremes. There is no first-party formula proving that every Common Aniimo can always become identical to a Perfect one, and there is no evidence here that Perfect is mandatory for every activity. Compare the systems as separate layers rather than turning the label into an automatic build verdict.
Potential vs Actual Attributes
Attribute Details displays combat-facing values such as HP 938 +38, ATK 43 +4, P.DEF 23 +3, REGEN 22 +3, M.DEF 23 +1 and BREAK 22 +0 in the captured example. It also lists Advanced Effects including Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Damage Amp and Damage Reduction.
Those are clearly presented on a different screen from the much smaller Potential values. Potential values are therefore not the same numbers as final HP, ATK, defenses, REGEN or BREAK. The screenshots do not establish the conversion between the two screens, and they do not prove that the blue + values come entirely from Potential.
Potential vs Personality
Potential covers the six Potential attributes and their Innate and Acquired progression. Personality is a separate ANIIMO system with its own bonuses. This guide does not use Personality screenshots or expand into Personality types, Combat Bonuses, Home Bonuses or optimization.
Common Potential Mistakes
- Treating Potential values as the same numbers as final HP, ATK and other combat attributes.
- Adding one example’s six Innate values and calling the result the Perfect threshold.
- Confusing Innate Potential with Acquired Potential.
- Describing Capafruit as an Acquired Potential item or a repeatable consumable.
- Assuming “Potential Limit: 20” proves an undocumented overflow formula.
- Treating Capability Awakening and ordinary leveling as one compounding process.
- Confusing Potential with Personality.

It is the separately tracked progression side associated with Capability Awakening.
What does Potential Limit 20 mean?
The client displays a limit of 20. The label alone does not reveal its exact calculation or overflow behavior.
What does Capafruit do?
It grants +1 Innate Potential to all six attributes.
How many Capafruit can one Aniimo use?
One. The live item text says each Aniimo can consume only one.
What is Perfect Potential?
Perfect is an overall Potential rating. This guide does not publish an unsupported numeric cutoff for it.
What does Capability Awakening do?
It develops Acquired Potential under caps that officially unlock with Aniimo level and Resonance star rank.

Do you need to start Capability Awakening at Lv.1?
No first-party evidence used here says that starting later loses growth or permanently weakens an Aniimo.
Is Potential the same as combat attributes?
No. The client presents Potential and Attribute Details on separate screens with different values.
Is Potential the same as Personality?
No. Personality is a separate system with its own bonuses.
Tips & warnings
- No numeric cutoffs for Common, Good, Elite or Perfect are published here because the evidence used by this guide does not define them.
- Potential values are not the same numbers as the combat-facing values on Attribute Details, and this guide does not infer a conversion formula.
- The official reset statement applies to Aniimo below Lv.60; this guide does not extend that wording to Lv.60 or above.
