ANIIMO Team Building Guide – Roles, Example Comps, and Replacements
ANIIMO Battle Parties have four deployed slots. Start with a dependable DPS, add enough healing or sustain to stay active, then use the remaining slots for Support, BREAK, or the matchup problem in front of you.
- A deployed Battle Party contains four Aniimo.
- The party selector supports multiple saved lineups and displays combined CP.
- DPS, Heal, REGEN, Support and BREAK are role labels, not a compulsory one-of-each formula.
- Replace the function that is failing instead of rebuilding the whole party.
Build Around Four Jobs, Not Four Favorites
ANIIMO gives each Battle Party four deployed slots. The easiest way to build a useful team is to give every slot a job:
- Damage: choose a DPS that can carry the encounter.
- Sustain: add Heal or another clear survival plan.
- Team value: use Support or REGEN when it helps the whole lineup stay effective.
- Problem solver: reserve a slot for BREAK, extra damage, or a better elemental matchup.
This is a checklist, not a forced role quota. A comfortable fight can trade sustain for damage; a difficult boss can justify more recovery or BREAK pressure.
Start with the Fight
Before changing Aniimo, identify why the current team is struggling.
- If the party goes down early, strengthen the Heal slot or add sustain.
- If it survives but cannot finish, improve the DPS slot or trade excess sustain for damage.
- If an enemy is difficult to interrupt, test a BREAK member.
- If one encounter resists your usual plan, check the Type Chart and Element Counters before rebuilding the roster.
Use the Aniidex to compare roles, elements, attributes, skills, and traits. Role labels are the starting point; the actual skills and your current investment decide how well a member performs that job.
Three Example Teams
Lunara balanced core
Lunara (DPS) · Glacy (Heal) · Witchin / Hexxin (REGEN) · Eklue (Support)
This lineup is built for comfort. Lunara drives damage, Glacy handles direct healing, Witchin adds REGEN, and Eklue supplies Support. The local alias registry treats Hexxin as an alias of Witchin.
The flexible slot is Witchin. If Glacy already keeps the party healthy, swap Witchin for Cornet (DPS) to increase pressure or Hummin (BREAK) when interruption is the real problem. Helion can take the DPS slot if you prefer that starter’s more aggressive playstyle.
Helion pressure core
Helion (DPS) · Flutternym (Heal) · Nimbi (Support) · Hummin (BREAK)
This is a clean one-job-per-slot setup. Helion leads the attack, Flutternym keeps the group active, Nimbi supports the lineup, and Hummin handles BREAK. It is a strong template when you want an obvious reason for every slot.
Replace by role first. Glacy can take the Heal slot, while another Support or BREAK member can fill the matching job. Then compare element and investment before committing resources to the swap.
Cornet flexible core
Cornet (DPS) · Glacy (Heal) · Bouldus (Support) · Bolty (BREAK)
Cornet supplies damage, Glacy covers healing, Bouldus fills Support, and Bolty brings BREAK. This is a useful second saved party when Lunara or Helion is tied to another lineup.
If a matchup changes, keep the jobs and change the members. That preserves a functional structure while letting you test a different element or better-developed option.
Replacement Logic That Saves Resources
Do not replace an Aniimo simply because a new portrait has a higher CP. Use this order:
- Name the missing function: damage, sustain, Support, BREAK, or matchup coverage.
- Find candidates with the correct role in the Aniidex.
- Compare their element, skills, and current development.
- Change one slot and test again.
One-slot changes make the result easy to read. They also prevent you from spreading level, Resonance, Potential, and Held Item investment across a large roster before you know which change helped.
Use Saved Parties for Different Problems
The party selector shows at least three saved Battle Parties, each with four members and a combined CP value. Keep a stable general-purpose team, then use the other slots for experiments or encounter-specific alternatives.
Treat party CP as a quick development check. A higher number does not fix missing healing, overlapping roles, or a poor elemental matchup. Test the team in the content it was built to clear.
Where Somniwing Fits
Somniwing is obtainable through the stamp reward progression at Collection 180. Its role, element, stats, and skills are not yet present in the local Aniidex, so keep it as an acquisition option rather than assigning it a team slot here.
Team-Building Checklist
- Pick one dependable DPS.
- Add enough healing or sustain for the encounter.
- Decide whether Support, BREAK, or extra damage gives the fourth slot more value.
- Check the enemy with the Types & Weaknesses guide and Element Counters.
- Keep investment concentrated in a reliable core plus a few purposeful replacements.
- Save the variation in another Battle Party and change one slot at a time.
ANIIMO Team Building FAQ
How many Aniimo are in a Battle Party?
Four Aniimo are deployed in each Battle Party.
Do I need one DPS, one healer, one Support, and one BREAK member?
No. That structure is a useful starting point, but the fight decides the final mix. Easy content can use more damage; harder content can need extra sustain or BREAK.
Is the highest-CP party always best?
No. CP summarizes development, while roles, skills, sustain, and elemental matchups decide whether the lineup fits the encounter.
What should I replace first when a team stalls?
Replace the slot tied to the failure. Fix survival first if the party is going down, add pressure if it survives but times out, and test BREAK or an element change when the enemy resists the current plan.
Should I build several teams at once?
Build one dependable core first. Use saved parties to test a few targeted alternatives without spreading resources across the whole roster.
Tips & warnings
- Party CP is a development summary, not a guarantee that a lineup fits every encounter.
- Somniwing is shown as a Collection 180 stamp reward, but its combat data is not yet in the local Aniidex.
