Which ANIIMO Should You Keep? – Perfect vs Elite & Investment Guide

Direct answer

Keep Perfect copies, but keep useful Elite copies too. Invest in the copy that fills a real team need, has a useful Potential distribution, and makes sense for the resources already spent.

Key information
  • Perfect and Elite are overall Potential ratings; numeric thresholds are not shown in the supplied material.
  • Potential is separate from role, element, level, Personality and final combat attributes.
  • Role fit, team need, stat distribution and existing investment decide which copy to build first.
  • Inheritance can move named development from a fully developed source to a less developed recipient.

The Short Rule

Keep Perfect copies. Keep Elite copies that fill a real role or already hold meaningful investment. Do not build every duplicate at once.

Potential is one part of the decision. The better copy for your account is the one that combines a strong rating with the role, stat distribution, and investment your team can use now.

For the full mechanics behind the six Potential values, Capafruit, and Capability Awakening, read the Potential & Capability Awakening guide. This guide is about deciding what to keep and build.

Perfect vs Elite

Perfect is the strongest overall rating shown in the supplied examples, so preserve a Perfect copy even if it is not your next investment target.

Elite is not automatic discard material. Keep an Elite when it:

  • fills your only Heal, Support, REGEN, or BREAK slot;
  • is already carrying important level or progression investment;
  • has a useful distribution for the job you want it to perform;
  • lets the active team progress while the Perfect copy remains undeveloped;
  • provides an element or role your roster lacks.

A Perfect duplicate can be the better long-term project while an invested Elite remains the better member today.

Use This Decision Order

  1. Preserve the Perfect copy. You can decide when to invest later.
  2. Check the role. Confirm DPS, Heal, REGEN, Support, or BREAK in the Aniidex.
  3. Check the active team. Favor the copy that closes a real four-slot gap.
  4. Inspect the six Potential values. Look for a distribution that suits the intended job.
  5. Count existing investment. Level, Resonance, Capability Awakening, and Capafruit all matter.
  6. Avoid duplicate spending. Keep alternatives, but develop one clear winner at a time.

Read the Distribution, Not Just the Badge

The supplied Perfect Glacy has HP 8, ATK 4, P.DEF 4, REGEN 4, M.DEF 8, and BREAK 4. Glacy fills a Heal role in the local Aniidex, so judge the copy as a healer first rather than chasing one number in isolation.

This Perfect Glacy has a broad defensive distribution. It is one captured copy, not the formula for Perfect.

The supplied Perfect Irisalis has HP 4, ATK 15, P.DEF 3, REGEN 11, M.DEF 4, and BREAK 10. Its distribution is visibly different despite sharing the Perfect badge.

This Perfect Irisalis emphasizes different values from the Glacy example, so compare distribution as well as rating.

Do not add the six values to invent a Perfect cutoff, and do not treat a Potential point as a fixed amount of final HP, ATK, or defense. Use the displayed distribution to compare copies of the same Aniimo and the job you want them to perform.

When to Invest in a Perfect

Start investing when the Perfect copy also solves a current problem:

  • it replaces a weak slot in the active team;
  • its role or element helps with the content blocking you;
  • its distribution fits the intended job;
  • you can develop it without starving the rest of the core team;
  • you have checked any transfer through the Inheritance screen first.

The badge earns the copy a place in your roster. Team value earns it your next batch of resources.

When to Keep Using an Elite

Keep using the Elite if it is already doing an important job well. Your only healer, a developed BREAK member, or a Support that completes the party is more valuable than an unused Perfect duplicate with no plan.

Move away from the Elite when the better copy can take over the same function without leaving the team weaker elsewhere. This is especially important when upgrade materials are limited.

What to Do When a Better Copy Appears

Do not discard the developed copy immediately.

  1. Compare the two copies’ role, element, and Potential distribution.
  2. Decide whether the new copy will join the active team now or later.
  3. Open the Inheritance guide and check the live transfer comparison.
  4. Confirm exactly which progress moves and the current transaction cost.
  5. Transfer only when the recipient is clearly the copy you intend to keep building.

Inheritance runs from a fully developed source to a less developed recipient and names EXP, level, Resonance stage and Star Rank, Capability Awakening, and Capafruit among the transferred progress. The live confirmation screen remains the final authority for the transaction in front of you.

Duplicate Rules That Work

  • Keep one Perfect copy while you evaluate it.
  • Keep an Elite that fills an active role or carries substantial investment.
  • Avoid leveling several copies of the same Aniimo without different jobs for them.
  • Compare distributions between copies of the same Aniimo.
  • Revisit the decision when a better copy can actually enter the team.
  • Use Inheritance deliberately; never assume every system moves automatically.

Perfect vs Elite FAQ

Should I always keep Perfect ANIIMO?

Yes. Preserve Perfect copies, then invest when their role and distribution fit a real team need.

Should I keep Elite ANIIMO?

Keep useful Elite copies, especially active team members and copies with meaningful investment.

Is Perfect always better for my current team?

Not immediately. An undeveloped Perfect copy can be a long-term upgrade while a developed Elite remains essential to the current team.

What are the numeric cutoffs for Perfect and Elite?

The supplied screens do not publish the cutoffs, so the two examples should not be turned into rating thresholds.

Can I move investment to a better copy?

Inheritance moves several named progression categories from a fully developed source to a less developed recipient. Check the dedicated guide and the live confirmation before completing the transfer.

Tips & warnings

  • The Glacy and Irisalis screens are individual Perfect examples, not a universal rating formula.
